Dr. Chris S. Edrington was born in Paragould, AR. He recieved the BS in Engineering from Arkansas State University in 1999 and the MSEE and PhD degrees from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2001 and 2004, respectively.
Dr. Edrington is currently an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and is the lead for the Energy Conversion and Integration Thrust at the Center for Advanced Power Systems. He was an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Arkansas State University from 2004 to 2007. Additionally, Dr. Edrington is a registered Professional Engineer. His research interests include: electrical machinery and drive systems, power electronics, and renewable energy.
