Rick Meeker is responsible for industry partnerships and U.S. Dept. of Energy-funded electric power reliability projects at FSU’s Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS). He is also involved in research, development, and education activities in control systems, electric power, energy systems, and modeling and simulation for applications in electric utility, industrial, commercial, and shipboard application. Rick is a licensed P.E. in Florida and Georgia, is a senior member of IEEE and ISA, is active in leadership of ASME Tallahassee Section and a member of the ASME National Energy Committee, and is a member of ASNE, SNA, and several regional and local energy advisory groups.
