Dr. Ali Hariri has successfully defended his dissertation for the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at FSU, and is graduating in May 2017. Ali has been working with the Advanced Modeling and Simulation group at CAPS as a research assistant under the supervision of Dr. Omar Faruque since August 2013. The software and hardware skillset acquired at CAPS working with different simulation tools and coding languages provided him with a competitive edge in the job market; ultimately securing a job at a top Tech. company, Intel, after a competitive interview process. Dr. Hariri will be working as a Test R&D Engineer at Intel’s Assembly and Test Technology Development department. The job scope includes research, design, and development of assembly and test processes for Intel’s cutting edge technology. Ali will be part of a team of Intel engineers and scientist that classifies, validates, and tests future semiconductor technologies in various areas before commercial deployment.
