Bio

Dr. Sukesh Babu Myneni is currently working as a Research Faculty I, at the Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS), Florida State University (FSU), Tallahassee, FL, USA. He joined CAPS, FSU in 2022 as a Postdoctoral researcher. His research focuses on the electrical insulation system design and characterization for electrified transportation and power-grid applications, with a focus on high-voltage engineering aspects such as partial discharge diagnostics and inception modeling, space charge measurements, aging and life modeling under AC, DC, and PWM stresses. His work also explores the influence of environmental factors such as temperature, pressure, and humidity on insulation system performance, with the aim of developing reliable systems that operate effectively under both standard and extreme conditions, as encountered in electric aircraft and marine environments.
