Naqash Ali is an Assistant in Research at the Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS), Florida State University, where he focuses on digital and model-based systems engineering. His work integrates standards, modeling, and interoperability to advance system design and validation in complex engineering domains. He currently leads the Ignite FSU project, funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), which explores innovative approaches to digital engineering and systems integration specific to Military-Standards Integration into MBSE workflows.
Prior to joining FSU-CAPS in 2023, Mr. Ali served as Project Manager – Digital Services for the French multinational Nexans in France, and previously worked in IT project management roles with several companies in Pakistan, including ArpaTech and Elixir Technologies. His career spans expertise in systems and software integration, IT program delivery, and digital transformation. He is an active member of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) and previously served as the Systems Engineering representative at the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) from 2022 to 2023.
